Chimney Damage
Chimney damage can cause leaks in a variety of places. Caps will eventually rust or crack, causing water to leak inside the chimney. Cracks in the mortar around brick or stone chimneys are leak sources – even the tiniest of hairline cracks. Chimney flashings are a common problem area, mostly due to poor installation. They can cause interior leaks and water damage, and damage to the surrounding exterior.
